Reflection

I am always amazed at how these titles seem to come to me. My guides, muses and angels have such a gift. They set me down in front of the computer and away I type.  With this new energy that is coming into 2012, everyone is having to face their shadow self.

Things we did as kids or stupid things that are rearing their heads and making us think! Things that we haven't thought about in a long time. These are all ascension things. This is not about judging ourselves for the imagined hurts we might have caused others. It is a time to make peace with ourselves.

This is knowing that no one is perfect! But by learning from these experiences we can always change if we choose to. We are here to experience different things in our lives. Some will be fun and others might seem like a nightmare that will never end.  This is to teach us that we are always changing. Nothing in life is stagnant.

By looking at the past and saying to ourselves. I own that! It might not have been fun to experience. Each experience teaches us something, what I would change! What I would not change! Sometimes there is nothing that we could have done to change the situation. Sometimes it is meant to change another person and they are meant to learn and we are the teachers to them. We don't have to like being the teacher.

2012 is about learning to accept ourselves for our strengths and weaknesses. We are here to learn and experience the good and bad. There is no pass fail on the other side. It is about learning to grow.

Dark Night of the Soul

My Angels and Guides want me to write this so I am. The dark night of the soul can mean many different things for different people. The dark night of the soul is not a punishment that is metered out. It is about helping on your personal journey to growth.

It is like the tides of the ocean that come in and role out. When your ready for the next leap in personal growth you will get this journey. Never for one moment think that you have been abandoned by Source. For Source never abandons its creations.

It comes right before you leap to the other side of having learned your lessons in the school of life. Think of it almost like winning the lottery for when you have completed this journey to the other side. The gifts that come to you are many.

Sometimes its a new job, new home or a new group of friends that are on the same page with you. Sometimes you've won back your hard earned self-esteem and self-confidence. You will receive the gifts that you need to help you on your next journey. Sometimes it is material, spiritual, or a new mental attitude on how you face and participate in your life.

The dark night of the soul is never about playing the victim. It is about taking responsibility and learning personal strength. This is why it so important that people not meddle in others life lessons. The lessons get harder each time the person doesn't learn. By meddling, you are not saving this person. You are making their personal journey much harder than it has to be.

Never for one second think that you are alone on this journey. Source and the Angels are on this journey with you. All you have to do is but ask for their help and help they will. Because we have free will these spiritual beings respect that and can not interfere unless it is life or death.

You are never bothering them. They live to serve, they are only waiting for you to ask.

Manifesting

The thing I love most about manifesting is that when you get clear on what you want and do it regularly it starts to happen quite quickly. Some people make a list of things that they want and some make a short list so it manifests faster. Whatever your trick, it is always like a holiday when you receive what you've asked for.

The Universe will always support you in what you want to bring forward. You do still have to take action. Nothing happens without some kind of action on your part. It is about participating in your own life not choosing to be a victim.

If you learned how to do it as a child, then you've mastered the most critical parts of manifestation. For adults it can be much more tricky. You have to be able to use your imagination to help with the manifesting. This is what famous inventors do. They use their imagination to get past road block to an invention or equation. We can do anything in our heads so why should it be any different in the physical. We are the only ones that can put limitations on what we are capable of achieving.

A Soul's Perspective

One of the greatest things is when you stop getting caught up in the drama.
It's much easier to be a soul and than a human being. You don't have to worry about makeup, clothes, haircuts, etc. For one you don't have a body to take care of. You are this beautiful, ball of bright light. This is what the soul looks like.

Being human, we get caught up in all the petty b.s. We worry about what other people are doing. We become this controlling monster. Our egos run all over the place. We forget what is even important. We let other people tell us how to live and suddenly become miserable and depressed and wonder why.

No one can ever live up to another's expectations. That's because your not being real or being you. When you stop being you, a part of your soul starts to die. When you start pushing people that make you feel like crap out of your life; your soul starts to feel better. You are starting to be authentic. You start to feel better about yourself and supportive of your own dreams and others.

Putting It In A Bottle

This weather has been so incredibly delicious.  The right amount of breeze and heat of the day. It almost feels like a Goldie locks story. This weather this October has been so great, it is better than the weather we've experienced this summer.

I just so want to bottle this weather up and pull it out for enjoyment when we get into this cold winter weather that I know is coming. The breeze is sultry with out it being overly hot. The temp. has been warm without it being obnoxiously so. I couldn't have asked for a better week long of great weather. This has just been so... dreamy.

Sabotage

I always find it interesting that when we reflect on the things of the past; its like this giant light bulb moment. We realize the people that we trust sometimes need to earn that right. Just because they're your family doesn't mean that they get a free pass.

It's only after we review their behavior that we realize that they aren't people to be blindly trusted. That the moments that we worked so hard for are tainted by their actions. Sometimes these are moments in our life that we can't just shrug off and get back.

They might be moments that we traditionally memorialize with pictures. Once those picture moments are gone they can't be reclaimed. Just like we need to weed our life of friends and acquaintances; sometimes we need to weed them of family members that are destructive to our accomplishments.

Once we become rid of the sabotage to our lives, it's quite amazing what we can accomplish and that we start to believe more in ourselves with out others doubts crowding into our shining moments. We begin to fly and trust in our own successes; this is not ego but self-esteem and confidence.

When you become self-confident, you want to help others try to fly. You do not view others with suspicion. You cheer others victories! There is none of the petty jealousy to taint those precious moments of pride!

Dragonflies

Dragonflies are a symbol of the magic of childhood. They are like little helicopters floating in the air.

They come in all magical colors they can be gold, red, purple. Some even are of prehistoric size and others are so tiny that if you blink you'll miss them.

They remind us to lighten up and not take life so seriously. They are very whimsical in how they move through the air.

They artfully move through the air. They have a light hearted personality all their own.

Meditation

I have found that finding the right music to get you into a meditative state is important. Sometimes you will require music and other times complete silence is desired.

As I am writing this I am feeling my guides and angels working on my right shoulder. Lately I have seen more geometric shapes when I meditate. This brings me more inner peace.

There were times in the past that I could not seem to just sit and meditate. Earlier I would take walks in parks because nature seemed to fill the gap and allow me to hear the messages that I needed to hear to make decisions.

Meditation has allowed me to quiet the mind and release any fears that I would have had in the past. I am feeling more at peace than I have in my life. I can go about my life with ease and not get locked into the drama of other peoples' lives. Meditation is not looked at as a chore, but as a delicious treat.

Making Changes

Changes can be spontaneous or planned. When we shift energy in our lives, it makes it easier to get rid of clutter. The clutter can be paper, clothing that no longer fits our lifestyle. Sometimes we take baby steps to help allow change to come into our lives.

Sometimes its about letting go of people so that they can grow at their own pace; and if its meant to be reconnecting with them at a later time. Letting go of books or furniture that no longer serves our needs so that others may enjoy them.

Clearing the Clutter

One of the easiest ways of getting rid of clutter is taking bite size bites. You can start by working on surface areas. If you have a desk you can decide which way you want to work on clearing it. You can either start on the left or the right.

You can start with the small pile first  or the big pile it's all up to you. You can also leave a post it note on the pile that you just went through. This way you know if it needs to be filed or if it can be thrown away. If it's filing, make a game out of it. Get a timer and set it for 5 minutes. This way if it's not your favorite task you don't have to spend a lot of time doing it.

If you like incense you can either light incense or candles or both to make this a more enjoyable task and put on music that is fun for you. The point is to make it fun not a chore.  Clearing the clutter in one room can be done in a week. Don't tackle a room in a day, if this is something that you hate. Commit at least 15 to 20 minutes a day to a task that isn't your favorite.

Most people get over whelmed and become frustrated. By spending smaller amounts of time on these tasks it helps to make it less of a chore to do. Don't tackle more than one room at a time. You can also divide the room into sections if this helps you. The point is to help you make progress in a room with less frustration.

Family

Family can mean different things to different people. To some it is the actual family your are born into; to others it means people that are of your own choosing.

The Holidays seem to bring out the best and the worst in these domestic units. It's almost like Jeckly & Hyde come to life. I'm not going to continue to write some sappy drivel about loving them anyway. That simply wouldn't be honoring yourself.

What I do propose is to pick through the ones that simply get on your nerves beyond reason and not answering the phone when they call. It will be a win for you, and it becomes a win for them learning to stand on their own two feet.

This is not to be mean. Some family members grew up in an era where it was simply exceptable to be verbally abusive. They call it that now but it was never addressed in their time. They just knew that when they were around people like that they didn't like them very much. This is one way of breaking a cycle by not pointing fingers and telling your relatives that they're abusive and need therapy.

This will only bring on a whole new argument in the family drama. After all who needs more drama in their life. If you wanted that you could simply watch TV if that is actually being watched any more. It starts to make what family functions you do attend a little more enjoyable. Believe it or not you'll actually start to feel more calmer by not having to deal with certain family members.

These are only suggestions. You have to take back what you perceive as your family hamony however you see best. For those of us that have decided to throw the whole lot out and start fresh with people we consider family. We've already found our little peace of heaven. Hopefully this will make you laugh. If not you might need to relax more.
