Clearing the Clutter

One of the easiest ways of getting rid of clutter is taking bite size bites. You can start by working on surface areas. If you have a desk you can decide which way you want to work on clearing it. You can either start on the left or the right.

You can start with the small pile first  or the big pile it's all up to you. You can also leave a post it note on the pile that you just went through. This way you know if it needs to be filed or if it can be thrown away. If it's filing, make a game out of it. Get a timer and set it for 5 minutes. This way if it's not your favorite task you don't have to spend a lot of time doing it.

If you like incense you can either light incense or candles or both to make this a more enjoyable task and put on music that is fun for you. The point is to make it fun not a chore.  Clearing the clutter in one room can be done in a week. Don't tackle a room in a day, if this is something that you hate. Commit at least 15 to 20 minutes a day to a task that isn't your favorite.

Most people get over whelmed and become frustrated. By spending smaller amounts of time on these tasks it helps to make it less of a chore to do. Don't tackle more than one room at a time. You can also divide the room into sections if this helps you. The point is to help you make progress in a room with less frustration.

Valentine's Day

I absolutely love this month. It is the perfect time to figure out how to spoil yourself if your single or to rethink your game plan for next year if your not. If your single, you can decide if you want some chocolates. A delicious meal and a movie.

A GREAT novel to get you through your special day. Flowers and a day at the spa. Nice candles? Or all of the above. I love this day because you can call the shots on how you want to spend that day! Just be sure to disconnect that pesky phone or turn the off botton if you use a cell. There are so many ways that you can spend this delicious day that its almost impossible to list them all.

My wish for you is that you spend it stress free. Best Wishes on your Special Day.
