Who Are You?

When you take an intimate look at yourself, do you even know who you are? Or is it more like who you think you are? Are you staying the same or are you changing? Are you heading in the direction that you want your life to go. Sometimes we want to take certain classes, but the money might not be there. There might be a program locally that comes up with some classes that are related to the direction you are trying to go. Sometimes this is the little cues from the Universe to get us back on course.

When we ignore these little signs from the Universe, the opportunities stop coming. Always pay attention! It's these little steps, that start to get us closer to our end goals. These journeys, allow us to grow and get to know ourselves better. Some people make a list of things they want to get accomplished like a bucket list. One thing, I've noticed is that sometimes those things on the list are accomplished by us; sometimes they're accomplished the circumstances we're in.

We always have the opportunity to change ourselves. Education can be found in many forms. Classrooms, books, computer videos. The last two can be found in a library if money is tight. Classroom education comes in many forms. University, technical schools, community education, other specialized classes that are listed at a location. Opportunities are every where.

Once every six months go through the things you want to change about yourself. These can be accomplished with big and small steps. This is always about moving forward and not focusing on looking back at our failures. The failures are building blocks from which we learn. We can learn if there was a gap that we didn't previously see or all the steps were sound and where we took a misstep.

All that matters is that we are growing.

Cleaning Up Your Life

When you take a look at your life, where are you feeling so-so? Is it the people in your life? Relationships in general? Your work life? Your home? Where is the balance off? Do you have lots of drama in your life or is it nice and calm. These are nice ways to gage here there is balance and where is it off.

By paying attention to whats causing you stress, you can start to dig in and make small or big changes. If you never take time for yourself, you might be exhausted. Make sure that your taking time for yourself. It's okay to be selfish with your time. It's about creating more balance in your life so you can relax and play. Less stress is always a good thing. It allows you to get a decent nights sleep. If your dreading going to work every day. It's time to look at why? Is it the work? People? Once you can identify your stressors, it makes it easier to make some changes.

Be sure you set boundaries with your time. This is so you can feel whole as a person. It's one way to have less messes landing on your life. Do you even know what makes you happy or excited to get up in the morning? How's your relationship with yourself? If you don't even know who you are any more. That's a big clue to start your work with getting to know you.

The Day Job

This is for those of you who are trying to get your business off the ground but are having to do a day job in the mean time to pay the bills. Most businesses can take up to five years to finally find that sweet spot of being self sufficient. I've seen too many practitioners become discouraged because they were taught their craft but not necessarily the business side.

If your business is in the service industry, it can take you up to five years to build up your client base. You might have to work with other practitioners to get clients. This is why hair stylists and massage therapists usually work under a shop. It gets them more experience and slowly builds there business.

Some people might buy an existing business to get a jump start on the client angle. You will have to learn the advertising game too. Some people can build their business fast and fierce if they've done something similar in the past. Net working will also come into play as your building your business. Practitioners will have to work out of more than one shop to get their business up and running faster.

While your doing your day job don't throw in the towel too soon. Remember if your a healer or a spiritual counselor. You are still doing your skills, even in your day job. Every time you food if your in a grocery store. You are changing the food so it now has more healing energy than it normally would. I'm trying to get it through to you that you are still making a difference even if you feel like your not. So don't get down on yourself.

This is one way to keep it real. You are always making an impact on people in your everyday life.

Play

Play is not just for children. Adults that never play become very stale in your everyday life. Your creativity is on a starvation diet. Play is how people create new businesses, new ideas, write novels, articles, paint and create art. Writing poetry. Allows more money to come through the door.

It can be a form a meditation too. Play can be done indoors or outdoors. It is a way to problem solve, its much harder to brain storm for solutions when you always under stress. It allows you to actually relax and just be. I allows things to start to flow and come to you naturally.

It allows people to share together time too. This time of connecting to yourself and finding out who you are again. We can get lost in the fast lane of life with the constant responsibilities. Play allows you to actually breathe. A lot of us have forgotten how to actually breathe, relax and play.

When we never take time for ourselves, we start to lose our identity of who we are? It can take a long time to explore that journey when you've lost that connection with yourself. We start to buy into the labels that people put on us. By playing, we are allowing ourselves to just be! To just exist and escape from all the drama and pressure of everyday life. It allows us to find another way to express ourselves and find solutions to make ourselves happier.

It helps us examine if we are truly happy or just going through the motions. If you start to see patterns that keep repeating in your life. Take a step back and see if you see the connection to why or what is making this happen. Allow yourself to take the time to play with different solutions to it and try some different things. If one thing doesn't work. You can always try a different approach. Play also allows us to take time to check in with ourselves to see if we are happy or not. What makes our soul sing? What makes you feel like your trudging through mud? Just take the time to see what answers come to you.

Dream Time

Several people have been experiencing a different dimension in their dream time state. These dreams are more than just dreams. There are real interactions taking place in those dimensions. Sort of like a multidimensional game of chess.

Some of the players are from ancient times, you recognize them as though it was just yesterday that you talked. The events that take place in those dreams are as real as this reality. A lot of these journeys are happening and its starting to blur the lines of the different dimensions in some cases. The veil is becoming thinner between the astral plane and the physical reality in some cases. Some people have even experienced the different dimensions in their waking state.

Different time lines and different realities. Time is bending more and more as its construct is being challenged as a reality. In recent times there have been reports of people stepping into our time from different times and dimensions. Sounds like something from a Psyfi movie. Many times life is much, much stranger than fiction.

As we enter 2018, many belief system will be challenged. History that is supposed to be based on facts will be challenged as the fiction it is. So pay attention to your dreams. Some are just dreams, others are a step into another reality.

Owning the Season

Instead of being stressed out by the season. Take steps to be in control. Delegate the things that stress you out the most. If food or baking aren't you thing. Let someone that loves that stuff do it. If you a better planner than a doer. Do what you are best at! The holidays can be a stressful time. Different family dynamics. The holidays are supposed to be about family and friends; not the trivial stuff.

Every family or individuals situation is different. If money is tight, there are a lot of things that don't cost money to do. Have a movie or game night for the holidays. What better way to spend a day after a meal then enjoying each others company. If spending time with your family is stressful then get a bunch of friends together for the holidays.

Meal planning can be divided between friends and family. It's unrealistic to expect one person to do everything. Seniors can be hit the hardest. Depending on their financial situation. Some seniors live in poverty pretty much; because their medication eats up a majority of their income. Some medications can run as much as $300 or more a month for one medication. Medicare does not cover everything. Re-gifting things that you have never used might be an option if people are open to it.

The season is not about giving gifts although the retail industry would have you believe it. Some people like to give their time to shelters. If that's not your thing, then find a tradition of your own to start or just enjoy being with friends. Just remember there are no rules. Just take a break and relax.

Universe Has A Sense Of Humor

During this busy season, when you take it upon yourself to tackle the cookie baking ritual. I wish you well. Some of us will just have cookie magic and everything will go smooth sailing. Others of us will be busy amusing the Universe. No one could imagine that a manual spritz cookie cutter could be the challenge from hell.

There is always a learning curve with baking. It's almost like a right of passage. Some of us always do it smoothly. I am not one of those people. You'll be questioning whether you should put the dough in the frig before putting it in the spritzer. Is the shape cutter in the canister correctly? Are the canister ends screwed on correctly?

Baking is supposed to be relaxing! Not for everyone, sometimes all the little stupid things will trip you up in the kitchen. Things will become stuck together and you will try to problem solve; on how to loosen the ends of the canister without destroying it. Sometimes you will find new uses for Christmas songs as you start to bang the canister in time to the music on the counter, while trying to loosen it. When you've previously tried all other solutions. While release frustration banging the canister on the counter in time to the music. It suddenly starts to unscrew becoming unstuck.

Lesson learned, goal successfully accomplished! Laughing at yourself as all the frustration eases. Your guides and angels watch you with no judgment as you try to conquer your problems. During this holiday season. I wish you all well with the baking season.
