Play

When was the last time you found time for play. It's not about age, it's about finding peacefulness and your center. Whether it's board games, going for a walk in nature or playing a team sport. Enjoy the music that makes you happy! When was the lastime you just foussed on just being!

Find what makes you happy, take a break from social media and cell phones. Soak into silence and take time to enjoy the quiet. When was the last time you spent time with family and just had fun being silly. It can be hard when your used to the stresses of corporate life.

Give yourself permission to take a mental health day or three. Take time to go hiking or camping. Go to a bed and breakfast and tour or see new places. Go sliding down a hill minus the trees this winter. Paint a picture or draw. Go to a movie and enjoy all of it.

If your out in nature, drink in all of it. It will bring peace to your soul. Smell that earthy smell of fall, from those fallen leaves. If cooking or baking is your jam, then enjoy the process. Knitting, embroidery, turn on your favorite music, light a candle and get your cider or hot cocoa and get cozy.

Play with your pets, it will help both of you release pent up stress. Pets are a joy, they welcome us when we come home. They love unconditionally!

Play, Play, Play

With all the drama that has been imposed on the people of this planet!

It's time to create the future you want for yourself and say Fuck the war mongers!

I don't believe for one moment that the people want war!

The things that profit and feed off of war do!

Those are the very ones that should be held accountable!

Notice, I didn't say people?

I'm not so sure they are the same species as us?

I'm not sure they;re even from this planet?

I just know that I'm not going to allow them to feed off of my emotions.

They need to be tried by the Galactic and Inter-Galactic Counsels for their crimes!

Everyone needs more creativity and play time in their lives.

This production, craziness in every industry is insane.

Getting back to nature to hear yourself think and get inspiration is the best way to get centered.

Whatever feeds your soul!

Whatever you do? Don't forget to reach for the stars! Someone has too!

Where Is Your Peace

Is your day filled with drama? If so why?

Is drama following you? Or are you the Drama?

When was the last time, you had complete and utter peace?

If your tired of the drama, maybe it's time to go in search of your peace!

What does peace look like? Smell like? Feel like?

Be selfish with your peace! Don't give it away for anything? It is a most precious gift!

Set boundaries, and don't let anyone trample on your peace!

Drink in the delicious silence!

Get out and embrace Nature! It is one of the most sacred spaces to be in.

Take some time to get to know yourself, allow yourself to take a breath from all the drama.

Instead of being swept away by it.

Take time to rest and allow your soul to have a vacation.

Learn what it is to play and just be?

when was the last time you were just being?

Take time to laugh and play!

Take a break from life!

Little by little, you will find that peace is all around you!

It was just waiting for you to show up!

The Chess Game

As the players move their pieces across the chess board, first the white pieces and then the black. As the skill level of each opponent is put to the test. Some opponents will move swiftly and confidently across the board. While others will take their time to observe their enemies weaknesses.

Time is not important when playing this game, only skill matters and patience in outwitting your opponent. It is a stage, where only the seasoned will survive. In some cases this game is only a game and the stakes are small. Other times, there is so much more at stake first revealed. Each piece can represent a person in play. It gives one a glimpse into their opponents mind. What they value and what they don't.

What they will sacrifice and what they will fight for? In some ways, it can be like a poker game with learning to conceal your true feelings and emotions. In other ways, it is definitely the art of war and strategy. When waging war, there are various tactical manuevers to keep in mind; to throw your enemy off balance. The stage has been set, now to see how many moves are really left to be played.

Is Your Life Calmness or Chaos?

Does shit constantly seem to be happening to you. It's almost like your life is Soap Opera? Lots and lots of drama. Or does your life seem calm and steady. Look around in your life. Where is it the most chaotic and start there. If it's in your work environment, see if you can find a different position with your company or look for a more positive work environment if that possible. If it's relationships in your life. Start to do an inventory of whose on your side or against you. This doesn't mean that your friends or family members can't be real with you.

Once you start to make even little changes, you should start to see a difference. Pay attention to the changes in your life. Sometimes it can be that your in the wrong type of work or surrounded by the wrong type of people in your life. Sometimes we need to make changes in ourselves. So find out what you like or don't like in your life or about yourself.

If you just love chaos and that's who you are! Then own it! Sometimes it's about facing the things we don't like about ourselves head on. I call this shadow work. This is not about judging the things we don't like. If their changeable than fine. If their not, it's about how do you embrace that part of yourself. The more you try to deny that part of yourself the more that it will surface. Sort of like a child having a temper tantrum. That's why it's a good idea to let that part of yourself out to play more often in a safe way. This way that little gremlin or yourself doesn't come out at the worst possible moment. Think of this as damage control! LOL!

If you have calmness in your life an it's just flowing and having each step line up with the next step. Than congratulations, you living the dream and life is working with you! The objective is to make your life easier not torture. It should not feel like your moving through quick sand. So have yourself the very best life your capable of having!

Play

Play is not just for children. Adults that never play become very stale in your everyday life. Your creativity is on a starvation diet. Play is how people create new businesses, new ideas, write novels, articles, paint and create art. Writing poetry. Allows more money to come through the door.

It can be a form a meditation too. Play can be done indoors or outdoors. It is a way to problem solve, its much harder to brain storm for solutions when you always under stress. It allows you to actually relax and just be. I allows things to start to flow and come to you naturally.

It allows people to share together time too. This time of connecting to yourself and finding out who you are again. We can get lost in the fast lane of life with the constant responsibilities. Play allows you to actually breathe. A lot of us have forgotten how to actually breathe, relax and play.

When we never take time for ourselves, we start to lose our identity of who we are? It can take a long time to explore that journey when you've lost that connection with yourself. We start to buy into the labels that people put on us. By playing, we are allowing ourselves to just be! To just exist and escape from all the drama and pressure of everyday life. It allows us to find another way to express ourselves and find solutions to make ourselves happier.

It helps us examine if we are truly happy or just going through the motions. If you start to see patterns that keep repeating in your life. Take a step back and see if you see the connection to why or what is making this happen. Allow yourself to take the time to play with different solutions to it and try some different things. If one thing doesn't work. You can always try a different approach. Play also allows us to take time to check in with ourselves to see if we are happy or not. What makes our soul sing? What makes you feel like your trudging through mud? Just take the time to see what answers come to you.

The Spin On Bullshit!

The Four Hour Work Week was a book that promised the small business owner would have more freedom and be able to work from any where. Here's what the corporations did with it. They used it as the perfect excuse to save money and increase shareholders profits.

Congress spun it as a bill that would benefit developed and undeveloped countries by putting the workers on an equal playing field as far as pay. The reality is that it took developed countries and made the workers have to go backwards in pay. The workers have to work 2 and 3 jobs to make up for the pay that they lost as they watched their jobs walk or run out the door to overseas workers.

Most people in undeveloped countries are living on $20 to $30 a month. There is no worker in a developed country that can compete with that. These workers are graduates with bachelors or masters and some even have PhD's. These are highly educated people that have loans to pay back for the promise of a better life that these degrees were guarantees for.

In walks the greed of congress and the corporations that forget that it is these very workers that made those profits possible. Without people having a decent standard of living the taxes start to stop coming in. Without people making a decent living you have no consumers. It is very much like the parable of the person who killed the "Golden Goose" so they could supposedly have all the gold at once. They soon realized too late that without the goose there were no longer any golden eggs.

Creating Your Own Stage

One of the things that I started to play with in 2006 was my own reality. I would have holiday events with family. I decided before going to the event that I would not focus on old history of the player and their personalities. I would approach them as though they were a clean slate.

What I found is that when I approached them without prejudgment they responded better and our interactions were more positive. We started to have adult conversations and history started to slip away.
By the end of the evening, the people that had previously attacked me openly were now attacking new prey at these events.

I got to be the observer of this sophisticated play and enjoy the show instead of having to participate in it. This is also in "The Course of Miracles" book. I've never been drawn to read it, but then I like to do my own thing a lot.

I am enjoying my new reality with my family. It has less drama and conflict. I'm not excusing the people that behave in this destructive manner. I'm just not having to engage them as much. Next time your a little bored, you might want to give it a try. I had tried this for more than three years at these events.

I also found that other people couldn't stand some of the Drama queens at these events either. My life is getting less stressful bit by bit. I have tried this in the corporate arena as well.

This is one way that I'm usually able to bridge gaps in an organization. I come into the organization with a clean slate. I approach the departments that I'll have to work with the same courtesy. I don't listen to whose the villain or prejudge the players of the departments. I judge them from my experience with them on a daily basis. That doesn't mean there wont be jerks or bullies in the work place.

I've had a pretty successful track record on getting the departments to work well across the organization. That's one of the things that I'm the most proud of.

The Merging Of Realities

These past few weeks it has been getting pretty difficult to tell reality from Dream. It feels like emerging from mud. It feels like a great effort to emerge from the dream state to the waking state.

Even this morning, I had a dream that was movie worthy. I will be writing it down sometime today. So much Drama? The characters are so realistic and they all know their lines so well. It's almost like you've walked into the middle of a play. The drama is so real, that it takes great effort to separate yourself from this reality and remain an observer. It is hard not to get sucked into this drama and participate.

It is only curiosity that helps to maintain the role of the observer. What will happen next. I even remember at one point thinking in my dream. I've seen this movie before, lets watch to see what happens next to see if I'm right. It always amazes me that I know these people in the dream. I could tell you their names their backgrounds. Who they are? Where they live? Then when I awake, its as if I have amnesia.
