Conversations Left Unsaid

There have been many times that I've wanted to have a conversation with someone later on. Only to find that later never came because the other person died before I could have that conversation. People think that because someone is younger than someone else that they will out live them to have that conversation later on. This is never the case.

The thing is that you wanted to have the conversation with them because you wanted their perspective that no one else could give. It might have been about a past event that happened before you were ever born. These are personal conversations that we can't just have with anyone. This happened with a cousin who died quite quickly, so I was unable to ask her about a trauma that had happened to my great-grandmother. It happened to my best friends brother who committed suicide.

When these thoughts come it's best to talk to them that moment to schedule a time to have these conversations. You never know what's just waiting around the corner.
